A Nordic escape on the water, made new for 2027
Selah Place is a quiet retreat in Athens, Texas, where guests come to slow down and come back to themselves. The Black Walnut is its striking two-story Nordic-style home, wrapped in wood, light and clean lines, with a third-floor reading loft and a private deck over the lake. For 2027 its interior is getting a full facelift, and we'll share the new photos as soon as it's finished.
Start the day with a walk around Willow Lake. Read in the loft. Dip into the Selah Pool. End the night in your own hot tub under the string lights, with nothing but the trees and the water.
